Waltz E minor Op.posth
by Frédéric Chopin (1810–1849)
Although it was first published in 1868, the Waltz in E minor was written as early as 1830 and is remarkable not so much for its conventionally frothy outer sections as for a middle section which begins sweetly in E major and twice turns violent with heavy chords in the right hand over a rumbling bass in the left.
